The track is a very quiet, lyrical, original comic about the sensual nature of things. It's about time, the railroad and the express train Berounka, which a seemingly insignificant elderly man boards, unaware that he may be embarking on his last train ride. The track is a medium for contemplating the perspective of our own life journey.


Martin Schütz works mainly with brush drawing, comics, illustration and, to a marginal extent, traditional printmaking in techniques such as lithography and woodcut. His artistic roots are connected with the Prague district of Strašnice, where he attended the local elementary art school in Olešská Street. Since 2020, he has been studying at the Faculty of Design and Art of Ladislav Sutnar in Pilsen. In 2023, he completed his bachelor's degree in the Illustration and Graphic Design studio and is currently pursuing his master's degree in the Media Illustration studio.
