The exhibition of this year's KOMÁČEK comic competition will again consist of the final selection of works by youth authors who have managed to fight their way to the final for the best comic with their storytelling skills and drawing talent! Which ones will the jury award winning status to?

On the occasion of the ceremony and the award ceremony, there will also be an exhibition opening to present the award-winning entries. Together, we will look back at what this year's edition has brought and reveal our transformative vision for the future!

FAQ for competitors:

My comic is in the finals, but I can't make it to the awards ceremony. Is that a problem?
Of course not, even though we would love to see you and congratulate you in person :) If you happen to be one of the winners and won't be present at the awards ceremony, we will contact you after the festival ends by email and arrange a meeting for you to pick up the awards (and the submitted comic) at another time. If you are unable to travel to Brno to collect your prizes in person though, please email us at komacek@festivalkoma.cz, describe your situation and we will arrange an individual solution.

When will I get my comic back?
The comics will be available at Panksy Café (address: Jaselská 17, Brno, Czech Republic) one week after the festival ends, i.e. from 21st October. Surely yours will miss you very much too, so please pick it up as soon as possible.

I can't/won't be able to pick up my comics in person. What now?

I want to use my winner’s diploma for the entrance exams (i.e. for high school), but the name on it is not my civil name. Can you issue me a new diploma with my real name?
