Dear comic artists, their supportive teachers, and loved ones!

This year, the open call for young comic creators, KOMÁČEK, is back at the KOMA festival.
We invite all creative minds aged 5 to 18/19 to showcase their talent by conceptualizing, creating, and entering their own comic in the competition for a chance to win exciting prizes!

The competition has four categories:
TINIEST (5 to 7 years old)
LITTLES (8 to 10 years old)
TEENS (11 to 14 years old)
YOUTH (15 to 18/19 years old)

Five works from each category will advance to the finals and be exhibited at the KOMA festival, where the authors will compete for the main KOMÁČEK prize and receive a small gift. We’re looking forward to comics of all styles and formats—let your imagination run wild!

Submission Details: By the deadline, you must submit your application, including a link to download the digital version of your comic. You must also personally or by mail deliver the physical original (if applicable) to Panksy pancake house (address: Panksy, Jaselská 17, Brno 602 00) in an envelope labeled "KOMÁČEK 2024."
