A comic from the life of Gregor Johann Mendel. The life story and legacy of the famous scientist is presented in 24 collages (17 selected for festival) by the artist duo Vendula Chalánková and Ján Obyšovský. The artwork, which was primarily created for Mendel magazine, is complemented by an animated biographical film. It was co-produced by the Brno Observatory and Planetarium, Kuli Film and Czech Television - Déčko. The premiere of this film took place at the World Expo in Dubai in April 2022 and was subsequently broadcast several times on Czech Television. The exhibition of the biographical comic strip was and is on display in the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, in the National Museum of Agriculture in Prague and also in the streets of Brno (in front of the Brno Observatory and Czech Radio Brno).
