The passage is an excerpt from her upcoming autobiographical comic book Back to the Summer, the first part of which Tereza graduated with from the Illustration and Graphic Design Studio of The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague this year. It is based on her memories of carefree summer days spent at a cottage. The author goes back to the year 2000. Her grandmother Jiřina's phone receives a signal only atop a distant hill, her parents are who knows where and the heroine of the book is bored. In later chapters of the story we meet the rest of the family, friends who come and go at various times, animals, and even fictional characters. The book blends fantasy with the reality of slightly dusty memories.
