We will introduce the youngest children to philosophy and how it helps us in life. By asking a basic question “why” as Socrates once did, we might be able to understand our closest surroundings.
At the workshop, we work with a model situation, which introduces children with basic methods of philosophical thinking. Kids are led to mutual discussion and are engaged mostly by dramatic activities. Our goal is to support children’s creativity, curiosity and their worldview. We engage in dialogue with them, because we assume that they are capable of philosophical thinking.
Philosophy for children is a part of a broader platform called Pink Box, which focuses on contemporary thinking and their main goal is to explore moments of everyday life, which can lead us to self-reflection.
