The water is ruled by mosquitoes, the land by lizards, and humans are just insignificant guests - welcome to the swamp. A trio of comic stories embedded in the mysterious, almost gloomy environment of the swamp, where the line between the real and the supernatural is blurred. In ancient times, people began coming to the Swamp and, despite the inhospitable environment, began to settle the place. The deeper the immigrants rooted in the Swamp, the more the Swamp affected their way of life. The first generation of settlers became accustomed to the smell, the second generation was eating insects, and in some areas near the water people stopped draining the soil and completely adopted the living habits of the local creatures. The Swamp has always attracted a diverse group of people - from poor immigrants looking for work in the Swamp, to all kinds of social outlaws and adventurers, to eccentric rich people who build luxurious haciendas in the bosom of nature. The comic triptych Swamp was created in 2021 as part of the author's bachelor thesis. The project is the result of a long-standing desire to invent his own comic story.
