The extraordinary story of a comic book artist working from home. Memories of his childhood and building his own version of Jurassic Park somewhere in New Jersey. Living without parents for the first time, skateboarding and trying to make a career as a painter that would forever change the art world of a Denver suburb. Three autobiographical comics from the master of autobiographical, self-ironizing comics, Noah Van Sciver.
Noah Van Sciver (b. 1984) first came to prominence with his own irregularly published comics anthology, Blammo. He has been a regular contributor to MAD magazine and is the author of many books, including Fante Bukowski, As a Cartoonist, and Joseph Smith and the Mormons. He lives with his family in Columbia, South Carolina. Boring is the first of his comics to be translated into Czech.
