We cordially invite you to the launch of the book City Gallery. The book presents the creation and realization of a gallery of thirteen large-scale realizations on the walls of houses in the Bronx. The story, which started in 2019 and was completed in June 2023, including profiles of each painting and its authors, was written by the initiator of the project, writer Martin Reiner.


The launch of the book will be attended by several authors of the mural designs, Pavel Čech, Jan Šrámek, Vendula Chalánková and Petr Lysáček.


The City Gallery comprises thirteen great artists—thirteen large-scale realizations on the walls of houses in the Bronx! František Skála, Eva Kotátková, Krištof Kintera, Vendula Chalánková, Milivoj Husák, TIMO, Kateřina Sidonová, Adam Štech and others, including the world-renowned Russian Marat Danilyan! The Municipal Gallery in the Bronx in Brno is probably the largest street gallery in Central Europe. The City of Brno and the New Bronx Association have joined forces in a project that helps to bring the formerly socially-excluded location near Brno's city centre back into the urban fabric. The book features excellent photographs by Petr Soldán and several other photographers.
