Czech and Slovak history is certainly full of important couples, but this year belongs to the heroes of the Czechoslovak resistance, Jan Kubiš and Josef Gabčík. 80 years ago, together with other paratroopers, they took part in one of the most important military operations of the Second World War, which took place on our territory. That is why these brave men and their life story were given a place in the KOMA festival. They are a reminder of human courage - the ability to stand up to a tyrant. How this event resonates in the generation of contemporary artists is represented by the works of Kamila Brůčková (script by Lukáš Valíšek), Štěpánky Jislová, Markéta Rokoská-Tunková, Marie Butula Ciché, Renata Řeháková, Petr Novák (Ticho 762) and Eva Jaroňová.
