At the KOMA festival, Ella will present a series of illustrations created in collaboration with the educational portal Dikobraz. She worked on the German literature section, primarily creating portraits of German-speaking authors living in the Czech Republic and illustrative images for the educational content. Her creative process involves using paper collages combined with colour-pencil drawings, blending freehand drawing with precise rendering based on photographs. Her focus is on capturing the essence of the subject and simplifying the surrounding environment to emphasise what's most important, allowing her to incorporate her unique elements into the illustrations.
Additionally, the author will introduce a wordless short comic that describes the career of the famous King Kong after finishing the movie.
