"Vedmi" is a non-linear story, taking place in a world where most people are "vedmi" - people who cultivate magic from nature. An alien race has arrived on the planet and for decades dictated the use of this magic. The story itself is about two witches from different worlds of the society who discover that when they touch one another, magic occurs- unsanctioned and beautiful and ancient. Exploring topics of colonial rule, queerness, and spirituality, I hope Vedmi can inspire people to consider the unlimited nature of their own love.
