The CS.KOMIKS competition has been held since 2011 and its aim is to map Czech and Slovak student comics and to support young authors in their further development. The task of high school and university students was to write and draw a comic story of 1 to 4 pages on any topic. A total of 66 authors entered the competition. The winning works of CS.KOMIKS.21 were presented this spring at an exhibition in the Horácké Gallery in Nové Město na Moravě and will take part in the comics festival in Angoulême, France, in January 2023. For the KOMA festival, a selection of the best of the sixth edition of the CS.KOMIKS.21 competition was created.


The organiser of the CS.KOMIKS.21 competition is the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of the University of Technology in Zlín, the Rotary Club of Brno City, the Slovak Rotary Club of Zvolen, the French Rotary Club of Angoulême and the Horácká galerie in Nové Město na Moravě in cooperation with DATRON TECHNOLOGY and other partners.
